Egg hatch continues slowly if inconsistently, and plant invasion is present at all sites. In any struggling, backward or particularly thin unsprayed crops considered to be at risk, a treatment should have urgent priority over the next week as tiller survival will be very important in these crops.

Action:
Use Risk Assessment Charts to identify fields at high risk. Treatments should be made to fields in the highest risk category.
